The Grove Cutting Board is built in end grain acacia, with the wood fibers facing up so knife edges slip between them rather than cutting across. The result is a surface that is gentler on blades and more resistant to deep scoring.
A juice groove around the edge catches liquid from roasts, fruit and tomatoes, keeping counters clean. At 1.4 inches thick, the board is heavy and stable on the counter.
The checkerboard grain looks handsome enough to serve on, so it moves easily from meal prep to a cheese and charcuterie spread.
