The Shoji Pendant Light is handcrafted from translucent washi paper made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree, bonded by hand over a metal frame. Light passes through it in a warm, diffused glow, like sunlight through a paper screen.

Three diameters, 17.7, 25.6 and 34.6 inches, cover everything from a bedroom to a large dining table. Cluster configurations of two, three or five lamps create a layered installation, each on its own adjustable cable.

A 197 inch cable suits double height and lofted ceilings. A warm 2200 to 2700K filament bulb brings out the candlelike quality of the paper.
